<p>Bales of forage are fed by an elevator loaded and placed on the track which is used for loading and unloading. The track incorporates a motorised roller conveyor. Engagement of an end stop on the track by a bale iniates a loading cycle on to the platform of the trailer when three bales are in position on the track. The first bale on the track is braked by a deflector until three bales are on the track. When this condition holds, the first bale can pass to the end stop so causing the three bales to be discharged on to the trailer. The deflector is raised clear to permit unloading of the bales from the trailer, the travel of the bales being always in the same direction along the track.</p> |
