The shower head (1) on its flexible hose (2) is held hooked in position by a holder in the shape of a stirrup, from which it is removable (5). The stirrup itself is set between two grooved rings (6 & 10) holding it at the desired level on the vertical wall fixed rail and allowing for free up and down movement of the shower head when it rests in the stirrup. The movement up and down the vertical wall fixed guide rail is controlled by a push button (21). The system is easily operated with one hand only.
