<p>The forks (35) which are mounted at the ends of the driving and the driven shaft each has two pivots (5) which can swivel in roller bearings (18) mounted in the coupling ring. The bearings in the coupling ring are supported in elastomer or spring metal rings (2) to damp out some of the vibrations of the transmission. During the rotation of the coupling, the ring is subjected to axial and radial oscillations, which are limited by axial and radial stops (19, 50, 51). The stops are fixed to the forks and/or the outer rings (14) of the bearings. The damping rings are provided with stop rings which are coaxial with the bearings. These rings provide pre-set stops in both radial and axial directions.</p> |
