The plug connection valve for a central medical gas supply installation is for use with all three known different plug fittings. It comprises two spring-loaded roller pairs located and displaced relative to one another on the longitudinal axis of the valve housing. Alternatively two ball cages are provided. The roller pairs are accommodated in two inclined radial slit pairs arranged at right angles to one another. Each roller is forced into its slit by the limb of a U-shaped spring clip (23). All these clips are pressed inwards by a common securing ring.
