The shopping trolley has a telescopic handle extending from a folding container. The container may be of any suitable flexible material reinforced by ribs (4). The ribs are pivoted to a junction point (6) at the lower end of the handle, and connecting struts (7) join each rib to a slide (8) able to move along the handle. The junction point (6) is provided with suitable slots to enable the reinforcement ribs to pivot upwards in the folded position. The roller legs and support feet are extensions of two neighbouring ribs. The container may be attached to the ribs by strings or hooks.
