The motor vehicle combustion engine has a water pump, an oil pump including an oil change filter and further auxiliary assemblies. The water pump and oil pump have a common drive. The water pump (10, 11) and oil pump (12, 13) have a common housing (15) and the rotors (12, 10) of both pumps are on a common shaft (14) driven by the crank shaft. The oil pump rotor (12) is fixed to the common shaft (14) between the water pump rotor (10) and a driven pinion (17) fixed to one end of the drive shaft.
