Measurement of ski frontal impact collision forces - using jointed dummy and attached transducer coping with various binding arrangements

A device measures forces occurring during frontal impact of skis on an obstacle. It consists of two frame logs attached to the ski binders. It is capable of producing comparative results for different ski bindings and different adjustments of the individual bindings. The legs are attached to a body about a rotation axis perpendicular to the longitudinal ski axis. A piece pivoting at one end is held on the body at its free end by a spring. A movement measurement device is mounted on either the legs or the body.
