The exhaust return is for a combustion engine. There is an intake line (16) with a choke flap (34) to regulate an air flow through the engine, while a first section of a return line (12) for the exhaust passes away from the outlet line and a second section extends to the intake line downstream of the choke flap. A flow regulation valve for the exhaust return has its valve seat (20) in the exhaust return and allows a gas flow from the first section to the second section. A valve element (22) acts with the valve seat (20) for flow regulation. There is a choke device (30) in the exhaust return and a choke device (32) in the intake line up-stream of an outlet (14) which opens into the air intake line to which the exhaust return passes. A controller holds a pressure difference (Pi-Pe) between the zones at a given size. This controller contains two springs, a pressure-sensitive element, a control chamber and a by-pass air valve to control exhaust return. |
