The extension guide for drawers and other pull-out furniture units comprises two section rails (1, 2) of which one is C-shape and fastened to the furniture carcase whilst the other (2) is attached to the extending drawer body but both rails (1, 2) have moulded run-up strips (9, 14) for the peripheral region of the end sides of the runners (5, 16) which are mounted on one of the rails. These runners move along tracks formed by the underneath of one flange (7) of one rail and the top of the lower flange (13) of the other rail but owing to the run-up strips should the drawer cant in any way the runners do not become jammed. In the transitional area between the web (6, 12) and flange (7, 13) of the section rails (1, 2) the run-strips are pref. provided with vertical run-up faces (10, 15) which in the event of canting interact with the uppermost point of the runner (16) supported by the rail (1). The flange (13) then engages in the opening of the section rail (1). |
