Separate or combined deflections of the control rod (7) in two mutually perpendicular directions operate two potentiometers independently of each other. Each potentiometer is operated by deflection of one of two frames forming a universal joint. The control rod is attached to one of the frames. The control rod (7) is attached to a spherical cap (70) which forms the inner tiltable frame. The cap holds inside it one of the two rotary potentiometers (91). Preferably the mechanism housing (30) has an aperture for the control rod in its front side. A funnel shaft collar in insulated in the aperture, reaching inside the housing with its spherically cut end.
