A system in which each individual has a personalised computer is proposed. Each individual may have access to information held in a number of centralised data banks. In particular, rationalisation of standard processes e.g. rates, car tax, banking accounts, is intended. In order to protect the information relating to a specific individual, access to the memory bank will only be possible by application of an access identification number.
