Milk cartons loading mechanism for container - has switch actuating arms in head of swing body thursting packets

The mechanism loads milk cartons arriving one after the other on a conveyor, into transport containers on a second sloping conveyor. A body above the conveyor swings across it so as to slide the packets sideways off it and over a curved guide plate. In the head (9) of the swing body are actuating arms (4-7) equal in number to the packets (2) handled per cycle. These are connected to switch contacts and rock on axes (4'-7') at right angles to the inlet direction and spaced further apart than a packet length. A stop (19) is provided on the body to halt the incoming packets, for which an end stop (3) is also provided.
