Protective hood for windscreen washser nozzles is pref. made of hard synthetic rubber and takes the form of a cowling which is attached to the bonnet or boot lid during the pressing of the latter. Hood can be pressed into or bonded to the bonnet or lid. Hood prevents clogging or freezing of the nozzles. Pref. the hood base is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive which si covered by releasable protective foil priord to attachment of the hood over the nozzle.
