<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the degradation of picture quality by controlling the tape speed different from that for recording at the time of reproducing so that it is a value corresponding to the channel division number and converting a reproduced video signal to a digital signal and scanning a magnetic head twice to generate a picture of one field. CONSTITUTION:Means 2 to 6 which run a tape at a prescribed speed which corresponds to a channel division number (n) and is different from that fr record ing, and a means 29 which generates a picture signal of one field based on reproduced video signals which are obtained from this magnetic tape 7 by two times of scanning of n-number of rotary magnetic heads 8-1 and 9-1 or heads 8-2 and 9-2 with the running means are provided. Since the period when the output level of a reproduced envelope is lower at the time of special repro ducing is alternately changed to positions different from each other at each time of magnetic head scanning, the reproduced video signal where the repro duced envelope is in a prescribed level or higher throughout the picture is obtained. Thus, noise bars do not occur, and the degradation of picture quality is suppressed.</p> |
