<p>1520333 Knitting BARRACUDAVERKEN AB 10 May 1976 [13 May 1975] 19100/76 Heading D1K A radar deflecting camouflage material comprises a fabric 10 knitted from a spun mixture of polymeric fibres and non-continuous electrically conducting fibres, the latter forming 2 to 10% by weight of the yarn and to whose faces flexible films 11, 12 are adhered which meet through openings in the fabric. The yarn may be a mixture of nylon and stainless steel, the latter being 60-80 mm long and the fabric is preferably warp knitted in the form of hexagons. The coatings may be P.V.C., polyvinyl alcohol, polymethyl methacrylate or polyurethane and may contain pigments. The knitted fabric is stretched before coating.</p> |
