The clamp is suitably made of plastics material. If a pipe is introduced between the clamp segments of the opened pipe clamp (Fig. 1) and urged in the direction of the base plate so that the pipe is pressed against arms 51', 52' of the clamp segments, then the clamp segments hinge towards one another closing the snap lock (Fig. 2). |
