摘要 Food is cooked by steam in an oven which includes a heater and a recirculating fan. Water is continuously atomized and converted to steam by contacting the heater while the oven is maintained at atmospheric pressure and an adjustable temp. Pref. the water is atomized by delivering it to a rotating cup mounted in the centre of the recirculating fan. The cup has an internal concave cavity and the water is discharged over its lip. Food is cooked by steam or alternatively by air convection. The steam generator is energy efficient and located inside the oven cavity.
