Flying spot film TV receiver - performs frame read=out in sequence w.r.t. video synchronisation system

A flying spot film televisor is used with synchronisation to the individual frames such that read-out of the frame is always generated in the same sequence with respect to the video synchronisation. The televisor (1) consists of an oscillator (12) controlling a motor (14). The oscillator is maintained in phase with a reference signal derived from the phase comparator (10) and low-pass filter (11) forming a servo-control circuit. An image start signal is generated by a detector (3) and fed into a coincidence circuit (5) providing an odd-even or even-odd output by comparison with the output form an external frame generator (8) which also closes the control loop with the phase comparator.
