<p>The coated metal component for use in the cleaning chamber of a dishwashing machine or in other places where conditions are severe, comprises a metal core covered by an epoxy coating, this in turn being covered by poly-propylene resin acting as the external protective layer. The component can be a wire plate frame, the wire of which forms the core. The first coating can be 0.5-8 mil thick, and the second one 3-15 mil thick. The design remains free of bubbles and rust for five years at least, while remaining smooth and flexible with resistance to cuts and friction, and welds and corners remain well-covered.</p> |
