A pipe, made of glass-fibre reinforced thermoplastic material, consists of an inner lining of a wear resistant rubber material. A loop pile glass fibre tissue is partly vulcanised into its periphery. The protruding loops are impregnated with a thermosetting material. Another glass fibre layer, embedded in thermosets is surrounded by a final gel-like thermosetting coating for surface finish. Prod. is resistant to chemical attack and wear and to sepn. of the rubber from the plastics.
