TITLE OF INVENTION: FOLDING STEP LADDER A free-hanging step ladder has an upper ladder section swingably joined to a vehicle and a lower ladder section swingably joined to the upper section. Two parallel support arms have their upper ends attached to a shaft journalled in the vehicle, while their lower ends are swingably connected with the lower ladder section. By rotating the shaft, the support arms swing both ladder sections upwards away from the ground while simultaneously folding the lower ladder section inwards. |
