<p>The guide with stopping device guides a strap round a package, its guiding portions being spring-mounted. These portions are strips (2) forming mirror images of each other, and each has a groove (14) by which they fit over opposite edges of the strap (1). In one or both strips is a spring-loaded pivoting catch, swung by the incoming strap into a position blocking the ingress of the leading end of a following strap. The strip in which the catch is mounted slides in the strap travel direction in opposition to a spring. The strips can be suspended by links (3) and screws (4) from intermediate pieces (5) and pressure springs (6).</p> |
