The mechanism adjusts pallets on which goods are stacked in handling stations along the track on which the pallets travel, holding them in position for adjustment. Each pallet has a profiled adjusting section (5) fixed to it (6), while on a holder (1) is a pivot eye (2) extending upwards, accommodating one end of a lever (3), which has a roller (4) at the other. The roller engages in the profiled section, and underneath the lever is a spring-loaded thrust bolt (7) working in the holder. The spring holds the lever in position.
