<p>The haulage mechanism is particularly for aiding cows calving, and comprises a rope winch which may be secured in the stall and locked to prevent reverse rotation. The winch can be mounted in a frame with supporting legs which are preferably detachable and adjustable for length. An anchor can be attached to the frame, for securing to a fixing point on stall floor or wall. A detachable hand crank can be provided, fitting on the winch drum shaft, together with a ratchet drive for the drum.</p> |
