<p>The bearing unit for fastening seat plates and back rests to a support stand comprises a closed housing contg. the main articulated joint linking the two parts of the bearing unit, the spring for the seat and its lock. The back rest support runs out of the closed housing (11) to form a connecting point for attaching the back rest. The bearing unit can be manufactured separately for various types of seats so that the back rest can be fitted afterwards without affecting the closed bearing housing. The connecting point can be a connecting flange onto which the back rest can be screwed. The back rest support can thus be formed by a U-shaped flat section.</p> |
