<p>The device is designed for fitting a pane of glass in a window frame or in the transparent part of a door. It comprises two battens (3, 4) on the soffit (5) of the window or door (2), with interfacing ledge surfaces (6, 7), one at least fitting loosely on the soffit. One batten (3) has cylindrical dowels (8) on its ledge face, aligned vertically to the pane level (1). These are insertable in matching cylindrical holes (9) on the other batten's ledge face, enabling the two battens to be pushed together continuously to any desired interval, and then locked against separation.</p> |
