摘要 PURPOSE:To increase luminous quantity of light radiating from a branching part or entering from a mixing part by using a composite parallel optical transmission line comprising the arrangement of plural optical transmission sections arranged in parallel as an optical transmission line installed between a master station and a slave station. CONSTITUTION:A composite optical fiber 13 is formed for an outgoing optical transmission line 3a and an incoming optical transmission line 3b by arranging 4 optical fibers made of a quartz group core 8 (optical transmission section) or the like in parallel, melting and consolidating them and applying a polyethylene sheath 10 to its outer circumference. Furthermore, the four cores 8 of the transmission line 3a correspond one to one to light emitting devices 4a, 4a... and also the four cores 8 of the transmission line 3b correspond one to one to light receiving elements 4a, 4a.... Since the cores 8 are arranged in parallel for the transmission lines 3a, 3b, the branching part 5a and the mixing part 5b having the same bending radius as that of a single optical fiber are formed. Since the luminous quantity of the light radiating from the branching part 5a or entering from the mixing part 5b is increased, the luminous quantity of the modulation light received by a light receiving device 6a and a modulation light radiating from a light emitting device 4b is increased.
