PURPOSE: To improve the flexibility of a market inspecting device by connecting an already stored substitute television program from a storage device with a television cooperatively with the detection of the prescribed identification code of a scheduled television program. CONSTITUTION: When an identification code detected by a controller 26 decides the identification of a substitute television program by an instruction stored in a storage device 20, the controller 26 extracts a proper substitute television program stored in a laser disk 24, reads the video part and audio part of the substitute television program from the laser disk 24, and allows them to be added to gates 136 and 142. The controllig part 26 controls the gates 136 and 142 by control signals on lines 152 and 154, and transmits the video and audio information from the laser disk 24 to a television 32 of a panelist. Thus, a valid method for testing a television program such as commercial can be obtained. |
