PLATE MAKING METHOD OF MULTICOLOR PRINTED MATTER

PURPOSE:To improve workability by preventing the intrusion of a red plate to a solid black part at the time of an electronic color sepn. by a scanner. CONSTITUTION:The image data of black and colors exclusive of the black are formed by using the scanner which makes color sepn. by sticking an original 10 to a drum 30 at the time of executing plate making of printed matter of multicolor printing including the black. A black plate 32 is then formed from the formed black image data and the black part is removed from the image data of the colors exclusive of the black to form the plate 34 of the corresponding colors, by which the intrusion of said color into the black printed part of the printed matter is prevented. The need for an intricate blanking mask forming stage, etc., for the red plate is eliminated and the working efficiency in the plate making stage is greatly improved.
