1462041 Staircases J TURNER 14 Feb 1974 [20 Feb 1973] 8221/73 Heading E1B Angle section members 1 for forming a staircase are provided at or near the extremity of each arm 2 or 3 with an inclined surface 5 or 9 which is shaped to interlock with the surface of the other arm of an adjacent member. The interlocking surfaces are preferably formed by a plurality of right angle steps. Reinforcing flanges project from the back of the staircase units and are formed with projections 7 and screw holes 8 for securing to stringers. The angle section members are preferably moulded from foamed polystyrene or P.V.C., or aluminium or zinc. |
