Casting ladle with bottom pour stopper

Casting ladle for molten metal, where the ladle bed slopes downwards towards a bottom outlet hole closed by a stopper rod passing through the closed top of the ladle. The ladle has a side filling funnel with a bottom channel (a) leading to the ladle bed. the outlet of channel (a) is surrounded by a partition (b), with at least one outlet hole (b1) in its base leading to the ladle bed.Several holes (b1) are pref. provided, esp. with a smaller cross-section than channel (a). Wall (b) is pref. the segment of a circle with a vertical axis, holes (b1) being located at an angle wrt channel (a). The ladle top pref. has an access hole closed by a lid above partition (b).Slag is sepd. as the metal flows intot he ladle; and turbulence is prevented so a quiet stream flows out of the stopper.
