<p>The drum skin tensioning device uses a hollow support frame, with the skin stretched across its axial end and an element which can be expanded fluidically to tension the skin, between the latter and the support frame. A rigid tensioning element may lie between the fluidically-expanded element and the drum skin. The fluidically-expanded element comprises an endless tube fitted into an annular groove around the outside of the support frame and/or the rigid tensioning element.</p> |
