<p>The sprayer forms an atomiser jet in the form of a two-dimensional sheet. It comprises a hollow body (1) with a two-dimensional nozzle forming an oblong slot (3) at the free end, and supplied with gas under pressure. The liquid to be sprayed is delivered evenly along a line (15) parallel to the slot and inside the nozzle or alongside it, and extending for part at least of its length. The gas causes atomisation of the liquid (16) along this line. The liquid can flow along a wall in the nozzle, passing through the atomisation line, being delivered to the wall by a conduit with a continuous slot or ports at regular intervals.</p> |
