Heavy breakdown crane for railway - has auxiliary truck to support jib when travelling, including frame with securing point

The railway type crane for use with breakdown trains has an underframe (1) with bogies (2). On the underframe is a turret (3) turning on a vertical axis. The turret has a jib whose outer end has a hook and cable worked by a winch from the engine. The jib is raised and lowered by a cable (6c) and there is a counterweight (9) of cast iron. There are extending arms to increase stability and an auxiliary truck supports the jib for travelling.
