<p>The sparking plug works at a low supply voltage and incorporates an autobreak mechanism. Ignition of the gas is by a train of sparks across the spark gap, rather than the single spark normally used. The train length is chosen to ensure that as high a percentage as possible of the gas is burnt to ensure max. efficiency of fuel usage with min. pollution effects. The spark train is maintained by continuous triggering of the gap over the desired period.</p> |
