<p>The device is for removing the soles of shoes after they have been sewn together by machine. It consists of an inclined plate fixed at the extremity of the passage along which the sole is advanced. The front of the plate is at a height above the base equal to the thickness of the template board holding the sole. Its width is equal to the minimum separation of the nails holding the sole. The back of the plate is wider, being equal to the width of the soles. The plate thus fits between the sole and the template board to raise the sole.</p> |
