The electrical cable extension lead winder or coiler has an integral lamp system. The lamp system is of monobloc construction mounted on a plate (24). The plate (24) is fixed ontospring loaded ballbearings (29). The ballbearing plate support system enables the plate (24) to have a limited radial movement. The limited radial movement of the plate (24) is used to control the operation of a switch (26). On the plate is fixed a lamp bulb protective globe (28). Inside the globe (28) is a screen (34) which can be rotated by an exterior button (33) through 360 deg. The screen is used to reflect light from the lamp in any required direction.
