<p>Digital-indicating colorimeter is designed esp. for quantitative measurement of tooth and filling colour to colour matching in dentistry. A light source (24) illuminates a sample and a measuring system measures at least two different colours of the illuminated sample. The measuring system comprises a light detector (18) producing an electrical output signal proportional to the incident light, a digital voltage measuring unit (8) producing an output signal representing the electrical output signal, and an indicator (10) which shows the amount of each colour of measured light from the sample. Pref. the light from the source is directed onto the sample by means of an optical fibre (14).</p> |
