The numeric filter is based on the use of a discrete transform making use of symmetry properties. The filter input accepts a sequential stream of samples from the signal to be filtered, expressed numerically. This stream is fed to a circuit which divides it into blocks of data having a fixed length, which appear as delayed and non-delayed streams. Four generators provide outputs using a Mersenne modulus transform. Two of the circular function outputs are fed simultaneously to the non-delayed blocks of data and the two remaining functions to the delayed blocks. The filtered signal then undergoes addition to be delivered as a sequential filtered stream.
|
