The construction of a paper for packing applications is so designed that the paper has an elastic stretch of >1.8%. Construction is designed partic. for use as paper sacks, the average curve factor of the cellulose fibres in the pulper is >1.15 or from 1.2-1.5. The fibres are crimped in a chaser mill with a water content of 20-60%. The crimped fibre mass is then passed directly to the paper making stage without allowing it to dwell significantly between the two stages. The fibre slurry for the paper making stage has a fibre content of 0.09-0.21%. the paper web is passed through a fluidised-bed drying stage, without tension, for drying. The structure of the paper increases its applications and reduces its wt. without loss of strength.
|
