Lighting unit for railway vehicles - has reflectors of different focal lengths with shorter reflector emitting signal colour

The lighting unit is used esp in railway vehicles for optional signalling or for lighting the track. At least two of the track lighting lamps can be used as red signal lamps. The parabolic reflectors of different focal length are coaxially nested. The reflector with shorter focal length is arranged at the bottom of the reflector with longer focal length. Both reflectors have a light source close to their respective focal points. The light source of the reflector with longer focal length is shaded relative to the other reflector. Light source of the short focal length reflector is enclosed with a filter of the signal colour. Alternatively, this reflector is lacquered with the signal colour.
