<p>Mandrel for continuous mfr. of rubber(y plastics) hoses or pipes, esp. a stationary mandrel, has, at its outer surface, rollers for supporting the hose or pipe (blank). Numerous such rollers are distributed over the circumference and along the length of the mandrel such that their axes are tangential or parallel w.r.t. the mandrel. The hose or pipe (blank) can be easily moved in the machine direction, without any frictional loss.</p> |
