The working table carries in its longitudinal sense a guide rail provided with a groove in which the first articulation with a vertical axis for the first of the two-part arm slides. The second of the arms of the two-part arm is attached to the first by an articulation with a vertical axis, and the cutting out tool itself pivots on the second arm. More than one arm may be provided. The length of the extended arms is pref. that of the length of the working table. The guide rail can be displaced over the table. Material which can be cut include superposed layers of material, plastics materials or leather. It is possible to execute sharp corners when cutting,a nd the whole of the working table can be reached by the electric cutting tool.
