A game similar to chess but intended for three players is played on a triangular board divided into 81 hexagons. Each player has nine pieces comprising one king, one queen, one rook, one knight, one bishop and four pawns. The pieces of each player are grouped in the hexagons at each corner of the board. The moves of the pieces are similar to those of standard chess. The king moves one hexagon in any direction. The knight jumps over two adjoining hexagons and finishes in any one of twelve possible hexagons. The rook moves in a straight line into and across adjoining hexagons. The bishop moves along the boundary of adjoining hexagons into any hexagon aligned with the corners of the starting hexagon. The queen combines the moves of rook and bishop.
