The hospital bed mounted on wheels, also has a set of sanitary fittings. The bedding support frame incorporates two sets of linkages so that the head end can be folded down vertically, and the foot end raised vertically. The whole is mounted on a lower frame. The upper support frame is fitted with side supports. The lower frame houses the sanitary equipment. A wash basin is mounted alongside, designed so that it can be folded down when out of use. This is fitted with hot and cold water supplies and waste outlet. The sanitary equipment includes water supply connections and discharge pump.
