<p>Printing unit esp. for hand labelling and label dispensing machine has type wheels, bands or chains with tangentially arranged type areas along their circumference. On each type area (29) are arranged a machine-readable code symbol (34) and a mirror-image clear-text symbol (35) corresponding to the relevant code symbol. Each type area also has a recessed region (31) in which is located a non-reversed clear-text symbol (36) as a legible type associated with the printing type (34, 35) of a facing type area (29). The code symbol comprises a strip code as formulated for indicating food products.</p> |
