<p>The grill ensures reinforcement in the upper and lower planes of the concrete slab. Steel bars are arranged in the main load bearing direction at different levels. These straight bars are connected by bent transverse reinforcement members, the latter being in a wave form. The upper and lower lever straight bars can have different spacing, and diameter. The waveform bent connecting bars can also have different properties. The bent transverse reinforcement is provided, especially at bearing points, with corrosion protection in the form of plastics sleeves.</p> |
