<p>The child's toboggan has a flat core of upholstering material, enclosed by smooth plastic sheet forming a water-tight cover. Plastic foam can be used for the upholstery material, and there can be a number of layers, fixed together and of different degrees of stiffness, forming the core, together with a rigid frame enclosed by the plastic sheet. The sheet can be transparent, with a picture on the inside, and typically of PVC or polyethylene, with the edges welded together, and fibre- or textile-reinforced to give high wear resistance. One or more handles can be formed by lugs of plastic sheet.</p> |
