<p>Insulation glazing for windows, facades, walls, partitions sepg. rooms, and ceilings, where the space between the panes employed for the glazing is used to form optical patterns, designs, and/or artistic drawings. The optical patterns etc. can be applied by one or more of the processes: (a) painting; grinding; etching; printing; applying patterns via adhesives; and/or photochemical alterations. The space between the glass panes may be filled with one or more transparent materials: (b) paticles of plastics, glass, porous ceramics, and/or metal contg. holes. Any one or more of the processes (a) may be combined with any one or more fillings (b). The advantage of thermal insulation via double- or multipane- glazing is combined with artistic and decorative effects.</p> |
