<p>The vertical drying oven is used especially for painted building panels. This oven has at least three vertical drying chambers and there is a vertical chain transporter with support plates or cages for plates to be dried. Horizontal chain drive is also provided. The transporter system is of relatively simple design. The vertical chain transporter is provided at its upper end with transfer drum. The latter is fitted between two pinions of two transporter chains. The drum has radial ribs for engaging with end profiles of the support cage. Horizontal guide profiles are arranged at a level at which the ribs engage with support cages. A continuous sliding plane is formed for horizontal transport of support cages from one drying chamber to another.</p> |
